4. Event preregistration form

Once you provide us with your email address and other contact data as applicable by sending us the 'Event preregistration form', we will use this data on receipt of your confirmation via the confirmation link provided to you (double opt-in) to notify you if the designated Automobilwoche event(s), e.g. about new speakers or the program.

5. Newsletters

We will dispatch an event newsletter to the email address provided to us, including, where applicable, the Automobilwoche newsletter if you have opted to subscribe to one or both newsletters via our website. Our event newsletter will provide you with regular updates on current topics relating to Automobilwoche events. The Automobilwoche newsletter provides you with information about the latest products, news, and events. 7. Google Web Fonts

However, said data will be recorded only to the extent outlined under Designated purpose and data economy.

V. Legal basis

Legal basis for the storage, processing and transfer of your data is, on the one hand, your consent (e.g., in the case of newsletters or photos; Art. 6 (1), sentence 1 a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our legitimate interest in the continuous improvement of our communication with users through web analysis tools, it being understood that the balancing of interests did not result in any restriction of your rights and freedoms (Art. 6 (1), sentence 1 f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or, in the case of registration for the event and for billing and contract processing, the participation agreement made with you (Art. 6 (1), sentence 1 b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

VI. Deletion of data

If the Designated purpose ceases to apply and of there is also no legal retention period, the relevant personal data will be deleted. As a general rule, the data will only be stored for the duration of the above-mentioned purposes. Our software service providers will only store the data for as long as you wish to receive the newsletter or be kept informed about other events.
