Member of the Board of management of Bosch and chairman of the Mobility Solutions business sector, on electromobility at Bosch
Since the beginning of the year, Stefan Hartung has headed Mobility Solutions at Bosch, the company's largest business sector. Hartung, who has a degree in mechanical engineering, took over the sector during a turbulent period, one marked by trade conflicts, fragile markets and a shift towards E-mobility. His task is now to find answers for the future of the factories and employees, whose jobs at Bosch depend on Diesel. Hartung worked previously at the Fraunhofer Society and the management consultancy McKinsey. He joined the world's largest supplier, Bosch, in 2004. At first he was in charge of Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH. In 2013, he became a member of the board of management at Bosch and headed the Energy and Building Technology and Industrial Technology divisions, as well as the product division Bosch Connected Industry. Stephan Hartung was born in Dortmund. He is married and has two children.
