1. Data transmission and logging for system-internal and statistic purposes
For technical reasons, your web browser automatically transmits data to our webserver when you access our website. This data includes, inter alia, date and time of access, URL of the referring website, file viewed, amount of transmitted data, browser type and version, operating system and your IP address. This data is stored separately from other data you enter when using our service. We are not able to associate this data to a particular person. This data is analysed for statistical purposes and will subsequently be deleted.
3. Event registration
The personal data you provide us with via the event registration form is used for the execution oft he event contract (i.e. to send you a registration confirmation and, if applicable, tickets to the event,as well as information about the event and for billing purposes). 4. Registration for event notifcation
If you give us your email address and, if applicable, additional contact information, via the form "registration for event notification", we will use this data to inform you about the indicated future event(s) by Automobilwoche, for instance about new speakers or a program. We will only send you this information after you have confirmed wishing to receive event notifcations via the confirmation link in the confirmation mail (double opt in).
When you decide to subscribe to our Congress and maybe also our Automobilwoche newsletter, we send the respective newsletters to the email address you provided. Our Congress newsletter informs about new topics and speakers. The Automobilwoche newsletter contains information about new products, news and events. Your email address is used exclusively by us and transferred to a software service provider Mail Chimp (by The Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, Georgia 30308, USA) and vertriebsunion meynen (vertriebsunion meynen GmbH & Co. VI. Erasure of data
When the purpose expires and there are no legal requirements to keep your personal data, we will delete it. In principal, data is only stored for the duration of the above-mentioned purposes.
