The Automobilwoche startup session will again take place in 2017. Eight automotive startups will present themselves to the assembled auto industry leaders at the Automobilwoche Kongress on November 8 and 9, 2017, in Berlin. Automobilwoche and experts from McKinsey selected the startups from a pool of more than 40 applicants from the U.S., Germany, Ireland and Israel.

The presentations by the companies take place on stage in five-minute segments. The startups also have a booth during the Congress and are able to network with auto industry leaders during the two days as well as at the evening event. In addition, all eight startups will be presented in an Automobilwoche series ahead of the Congress. "In this way, we are establishing an exclusive marketplace where we bring the auto industry and startups together. We had enormous success in 2016, and we will repeat – or surpass – that success this year," said Automobilwoche Editor-in-Chief Burkhard Riering.
